The following is a list of conversations/questions I would like to discuss with people I am close with, people I am interested in getting to know, or friends who I will not see for some time.

  3. If you consider the "enemy" to be a life not well lived, what does that enemy look like?

  5. What motivates you? As in, why do anything rather than nothing?
  6. When do you feel "seen"? When do you feel "unseen"?
  7. What is the meaning you currently ascribe to life? How has that changed throughout the years, and in what ways do you expect it to change moving forward?
  8. What is something you have been afraid to tell me?
  9. How do you feel different from the people around you? In what ways do you feel the same?
  10. What does a good friend mean to you? A good partner?
  11. What are some moments in life in which you felt you had betrayed your authentic self?
  12. What do you consider funny?
  13. Who is someone you respect but would never want to be?
  14. What do most people misunderstand? (could be about anything)

  16. If your life was a fictional character, who would you pick?
  17. In what ways do you create joy in your life?
  18. What are painful experiences that you have had that you are grateful for in hindsight?
  19. Looking back on your life, what do you consider to be the most surprising aspect about it?
  20. How many 'changepoints' would you say you have had in your life, not externally, but internally? (in how you understand the world, how you think, your general emotional well-being)
  21. Regardless of if you want children, what does succesfully raising a child look like?
  22. What are you currently avoiding?
